UK OPERATIONS MANAGER


We are looking for an experienced candidate to take over the role of Operations Manager for 6–12 months as a substitute of maternity leave. We are offering an interesting and unique experience withing the international fast growing insurance group.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manage and support the development of all UK and Ireland Insured business, to assist in the delivery of maximum return on investment, at Executive Management level through delivery of business objectives.
  • Responsible for a culture of continual business improvement, established and maintained at the forefront of all business activities and at all equivalent and junior levels within the organisation.
  • Delivery of positive and timely business growth within a regulated framework.
  • Managing of 4 team leaders and department of cca 20 people in total.

KEY TASKS:

  • Managing of key projects in the area of insurance business
  • Conducting client relationship management
  • Managing of transition client´s department into larger global insurer group
  • Managing onboarding of larger volume of clients
  • Managing teams of direct reports (customer service, IT development, finance)
  • Ensuring product innovation
  • Development and support of product performance
  • Collaboration with other Key managers, teams and clients
  • Conducting of procedures and dealers implementation
  • Sign off of monthly financial BAU tasks and KPI results

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years or more experience in management in an insurance company, consulting firm or financial services organisation
  • Ability to balance supporting and leading multiple projects with multiple clients, including timely communication of project and deliverable status
  • A strong focus on building customer relationships and executing high standard customer service
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working alongside Lean principles preferable
  • Well-developed people management, mentoring and leadership abilities
