CLAIMS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, organizational and investigative skills. Prior administration experience is preferred.
It is important that you are able to work with a variety of people demonstrating strong customer relations and communications skills including ability to deal with the public with tact and diplomacy. Must be able to work respectfully with individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities. Requires the ability to work cooperatively with other staff to accomplish the overall objectives of the department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Uploading claims related information into the claims database – iDefend or iGard
  • Liaising with repairers to finalise customer repairs
  • Contacting clients in order to finalise and close open claims
  • Investigation of all old open claims and appropriate action taken to close them (either contacting the policyholder or distribute to claims adjuster for further action)
  • Answering telephones and taking messages when claims adjusters are busy during breaks/lunch/trainings
  • Any other claim related administrative task as directed by Country Manager or Team Leader
  • Regular product training to ensure deep understanding of all products in the Defend UK department

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent English
  • Good communication skills
  • Has a broad experience of working in a regulated customer service environment
  • Ability to meet & exceed customer expectations
  • Investigative skills
  • Able to use MS office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook
