Policy changes

At DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP we are aware of a number of important events that need attention. We pay attention to gaining client confidence and we are committed to registering your changes quickly and effectively.

We therefore ask you to communicate any changes that may affect your insurance contract and provide us with the necessary documentation in a timely manner.

  • How to apply for a change?
    • If your vehicle details have changed, please send us a completed form by post or email together with a copy of the document proving the change.
  • What changes do we record?
    • Vehicles in our system are registered according to the VIN number. There is no need to send any changes of registration number. However, you must update the details if you find the wrong details in your insurance contract, or if the vehicle details have changed (for example change of body type, fuel type etc.).

  • How to apply for a change?
    • If the vehicle owner details have changed, please send us a completed form by post or email together with a copy of the document proving the change (if applicable).
  • What changes do we record?
    • We only need to know the changes if they affect our communication - especially when the name, company name, permanent or correspondence address, phone number or e-mail have changed.

  • How to apply for a transfer of rights and obligations?
    • If you sell your vehicle before or during the insurance period, you may transfer your rights under the insurance contract to the new owner of the insured vehicle. To effect the transfer, it is necessary for the new owner to send us completed form by post or email within 14 days from the date of purchase of the vehicle.
