DEFEND Car Protect extended warranty is now available at the Q-Service network
The Hungarian branch of DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP has partnered up with the international network of car service centres, Q-Service, operated by Inter Cars Hungária Kft. Their customers now have the opportunity to purchase DEFEND Car Protect extended warranties during regular servicing, vehicle repairs or even technical inspections.
With rising inflation and energy prices the need for protection against the unexpected cost of vehicle
repairs is becoming more and more apparent. Repairs to the engine, brakes, transmission or clutch are
typically in the millions of forints and can hit the household budget even under normal circumstances.
However, drivers can take advantage of the DEFEND Car Protect extended warranty, which will protect them
in the event of a mechanical, electrical or electronic failure, normally requiring them to dig deep into
their pockets or even borrow money to cover such expenses.
"Our goal is to help clients reduce risk and increase their sense of security and financial stability,
which is now more important than ever. why we have made it possible to arrange our extended warranties
not only during the vehicle purchase but also during service events. Thanks to our new partnership with
the Q-Service, car service network, our DEFEND Car Protect extended warranties are even more accessible
in Hungary. We believe that this partnership will protect a broader scope of clients against financial
difficulties, while enabling growth and strengthening the market position of both parties," says
Emília Nagy, Country Manager of DEFEND INSURANCE GROUP for Hungary.
Q-Service has more than 200 branches in Hungary, offering drivers with an alternative to authorised service centres. Their aim is to provide clients with a quality service at a reasonable price, making vehicle maintenance as economical as possible, but with high industry standards.
"With Q-Service, we share a customer-centric approach and a focus on quality as well as affordability of our products and services. We are constantly striving to innovate our offer to meet the current needs of our clients," adds Emília Nagy.
Piri András, Project Manager at Q-Service/InterCars added: "We are proud to be the first to launch DEFEND extended warranties in car service centres throughout Hungary. It is a very innovative solution for our network as well as our clients and an excellent opportunity to improve our customer service."
The DEFEND Car Protect extended warranty can be arranged at the selected garages in the Q-Service network for vehicles up to 15 years old and with 300,000 kilometres mileage. It offers protection for up to 1 year with the possibility of extension. If the car owner already has DEFEND Car Protect warranty or it has recently expired, he/she can arrange it for an additional 1 year. There are 3 programmes available – ADVANTAGE, COMFORT and PLUS – which have a wide range of optional parameters, allowing drivers to tailor them to their individual needs without paying anything extra. Another great advantage of the extended warranty is increase in vehicle value if it is sold with the possibility of transferring the warranty to the new owner.
