The iDEFEND system is now connected to the Caris software developed by TEAS

DEFEND INSURANCE has completed the connection of its iDEFEND insurance contract registration system with the Caris software. It is developed and provided by TEAS (a member of the EAG Group), the largest supplier of special software for the automotive segment (DMS) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The newly established cooperation will enable car dealers to effectively offer a wide range of services through Caris, including DEFEND Gap insurance and the extended DEFEND Car Protect warranty for used cars. It covers sudden and unpredictable internal mechanical or electrical failures of the insured motor vehicle and will significantly help dealers of new and used vehicles to increase their credibility with end customers.

The risk of possible additional repair costs, especially for used cars, is a big threat for every customer. The option to purchase an extended warranty for such a car is therefore a great solution. “We believe that the guarantees offered by DEFEND INSURANCE will soon become the standard when buying a used car and customers will require them, "said Petr Kratochvíl, CEO of TEAS.

Another advantage of the new cooperation is the complete integration of both systems, which will significantly speed up the entire registration process. "Anyone who has experience in concluding similar contracts knows that this is a time-consuming process, so full integration will bring dealers significant time savings and increase the credibility of the entire sales process, and thus the satisfaction of the end customer," adds Kratochvíl.

The cooperation of DEFEND INSURANCE with TEAS will also facilitate mutual communication and approaching new potential partners and customers.
