The Dealer Services Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the successful onboarding of new dealers and once dealers have been onboarded, ensuring existing dealers remain satisfied with our service by providing timely and proactive solutions to their queries. Frequent contact with DEFEND INSURANCE key partners is required to ensure successful project delivery. Your team will be responsible for the input of data into 2 bespoke systems (iGard and iDEFEND) and therefore, it is required that you work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure data integrity.


  • Lead projects that require the implementation of all new dealers within the UK department
  • Review existing practices within the team and subsequent recommendations for continued improvement, efficiency, and resilience
  • Ensure BAU tasks are being completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Responsible for ensuring that the team meet all KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Maintain a high performing service support function which includes iGard/iDEFEND support (internal and external), finance and dealer services
  • Regular meetings with key clients to ensure their satisfaction
  • Work closely with Service Delivery Manager to ensure successful transition of dealers from iDEFEND UK to iDEFEND V2
  • Responsible for IT escalation processes for iGard and iDEFEND, ensuring high level of performance in these processes, accurate reporting (Risk and Issues Register)
  • Establishing service improvement activities when required


  • At least 3 years or more experience working within an insurance company, consulting firm or financial services organization
  • Ability to lead and support multiple projects with multiple clients while regularly communicating project updates in a timely manner
  • A strong focus on building customer relationships and executing a high standard of customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with LEAN principles preferable
  • Experienced in leading a small team of professionals
